Danielle never believed in love at first sight until she met Ira: “I knew right away, he was my person.” Ira took a bit longer to come around. “He realized he was in love when I continued to love him without fail. He felt that he was undeserving of my love.”

Over their five years of courtship, Danielle and Ira have learned how to be patient, kind and forgiving with each other. “We have grown in great strides over the years in finding out we are not always right. We continue to grow in our love for the Lord as a couple and we are so thankful for his blessings in our lives.” Danielle and Ira want to continue to raise their daughter, Sydney, in a Godly home, grow their family, and have a cabin in the mountains someday.

We wanted a place that was beautiful with nothing added, and that is exactly what Nantahala is!  All the vendors were so helpful and wonderful to work with. We feel truly blessed to have met each and every one of them. Through COVID-19 and Hurricane Delta we were able to pull off a magical experience with Jody’s help and the help of all of her wonderful vendors. It was a perfect weekend.
