Rainee and Ben
After an epic day of hiking, the couple was famished and looking forward to gobbling up the traditional can of beenie weenies for dinner.
Rainee: “Oh no! I forgot the can opener!”
Ben: “Hmm, let’s find a rock.”
They found a rock and successfully smashed the can open. Impressive, I’d say.
Ben’s later recollection of the event: “The rock-opened beenie weenies were the best we ever ate, hands down.”
They named the rock the “Bean Rock.”
As homage to their first camping trip, they served beenie weenies for their rehearsal dinner. Ironically, and not intentionally…
Rainee: “Oh no! I forgot a can opener.”
Ben excited exclaims, “I’ll find a rock!”
Meanwhile Rainee searches the kitchen at the wedding venue for a can opener and finds one. Ben will admit he was slightly disappointed because he has no reason to open the beenie weenie cans with a rock.
Rainee explained how she managed to stay so calm and collected throughout her entire wedding: “I don’t really believe in over-planning because something will always go wrong, but in the end, everything will be wonderful anyway.”
Such a great philosophy and one that Ben and Rainee will share for their ‘ever after.’ There is no need to fear disappointment when you know you have a bean-rock-solid marriage.
