Kapri and Mosh

Kapri and Moshe met while he was teaching at Barnard in New York City, and she was working at Jacobi Medical Center. He was an Upper West Side boy and she an Upper East Side girl. On their very first date, he declared to her, “You are going to be the last first date I have in New York City. I just interviewed for a job in Charleston, and I have a good feeling.” She responded, “Well, I am about to put a deposit down for a two-year MBA program here in the city.” She assumed that nothing more would transpire with the soon-to-be-moving professor.

Mosh had other plans in mind, however, and continued to pursue Kapri throughout his 2-month long solo road trip across the US, ending in Charleston. Two weeks after his arrival, Kapri came for a visit and Mosh told her he didn’t want her to leave. Kapri surprised everyone, including herself, and four months later she transferred MBA programs and followed Mosh down South.

They chose Nantahala Weddings because it reminded them of Moshe’s family bungalow colony in the Catskill Mountains, which is where they both realized they were destined for each other.
